Doug Cheney works full time in the tourism industry. His interest in clay began in 1982 when he registered for a beginners level wheel throwing class through the city of Saskatoon.

Doug works in medium fire clay and uses both white and red bodies. He prefers functional pottery and enjoys adding texture to his pieces through slip decoration and carving designs in his pieces. His passion for clay continues today.
